I know it seems early, but the number of Christmas function bookings received has prompted us to mention it on the site. The 'silly season' is getting busier every year and a lot of firms and social clubs now opt to have a get together in January or February when the weather is more reliable and there is not so much pressure at work.

The social celebration is an important part of corporate culture so why not reward you and your staff or social club this year with a Christmas function at the Okoroire Hot Springs Hotel.

We pride ourselves on good old country hospitality, excellent food and good times. Ours is a unique 'olde world' country hotel - built by New Zealanders for New Zealanders and we are one of the last bastions of true Kiwiana Country Pub culture .... airs and graces are best left at home.

Our beautiful grounds were laid out in the 1800's and include our famous 9 hole golf course, historical mineral baths, tennis court, grass and sand volleyball courts, all dotted with magnificent 100 year old trees, complemented by the Waihou River running through.

We are centrally located, equidistant from Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua (approximately 40 minutes drive time) and one hour drive north from Taupo. There's plenty to keep yourselves occupied, but if exercise is not your bag, stretch out on our shady deck with a nice cold beer and watch the entertainment on the golf course.

If you are considering the 'Oko' for your function this year and require accommodation, please enquire a.s.a.p. as we are filling up quickly. We will forgo our 'two night' policy at weekends in November and December. One-night bookings are gladly accepted.
