Okoroire Hotel is a beautiful, famous 'Olde World' country pub built in the 1880's and nestled in eighty acres of park surroundings on the banks of the Waihou River. Our family has owned and operated this business for three generations. The hotel is constructed from native timbers and is a veritable example of a true Kiwi hotel.

With our own 9 hole golf course, Okororie is an ideal center for a golfing break, additionally there are a further 27 golf courses with 40 minutes of the hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of the Waikato, no more than 40 minutes to Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua. Auckland airport is 90 minutes drive time and Taupo is 70 minutes to the south.
