Okoroire Hotel is a beautiful, famous 'Olde World' country pub built in the 1880's and nestled in eighty acres of park surroundings on the banks of the Waihou River. Our family has owned and operated this business for three generations. The hotel is constructed from native timbers and is a veritable example of a true Kiwi hotel.

With our own 9 hole golf course, Okoroire is an ideal center for a golfing break, additionally there are a further 27 golf courses with 40 minutes of the hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of the Waikato, no more than 40 minutes to Tauranga, Hamilton and Rotorua. Auckland airport is 90 minutes drive time and Taupo is 70 minutes to the south.

With Easy Access for Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua, we are centrally located for your World Rugby Cup 2011 adventure. With large screen TV's for the matches further away and a host of events during the tournament, Okoroire Hotel is rugby central for the tournament. From the two local airports you are able to fly into and out of New Zealand and to the various cities for the pool matches and finals.
